Another year, at the ceramics academy, I started working on the themes proposed: BALANCE and FLUX.
I immediately associated the latter with the notion of FLUID, which I found interesting to work on in ceramics.
I also wanted to explore porcelain, which I hadn't yet tried out. One of the things I was interested in was how to make a ‘splash’ of milk, like in these photos of crushing drops taken at very high shutter speed.
I compiled all my research and results in a small notebook.
